In the novel the alchemist, Coelho shows that you need to be courageous in order to leave what you know and love to seek out your destiny.Not many people have the courage to go on the journey to realize their destinys. Many believe that it is a waste of time go on this journey, because they have the idea that it is stupid to go in search of your destiny. When we are young we know what are destiny is, and we wish to pursue it. As we grow older we get told all the time that our destiny is impossible, so we become afriad of faliure, and we make exuses not to go on the journey. We must muster up our courage and embrace our destiny, not hide from it. Like Santiago, we need to find our destiny and fufill it. Even if we are scared we must still realize that our destiy is our purpose in life and that the world wants us to acheive our destiny, and will help us do so.
